1 (.25 ounce) package active dry yeast
1 teaspoon white sugar
1 cup warm water (110 degrees F/ 45 degrees C)
2 1/2 cups bread flour
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon salt

Preheat oven to 450 degrees.  In a medium bowl, dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water.  Let stand until creamy, about 10 minutes. Stir in flour, salt and oil. Beat until smooth.  Let rest for 5 minutes. Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface and pat or roll into a round.  Transfer crust to a lightly greased pizza pan or baker’s peel dusted with cornmeal. Spread with desired toppings and bake in preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes, or until golden brown. Let baked pizza cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Pizza Dough
Makes 2 (14 inch) thin pizzas
1 cup warm water
1 tbsp honey
1 packet yeast
2 1/2 cups bread flour
1/4 tsp salt
1 tbsp olive oil

Combine honey and warm water in a bowl. Sprinkle with yeast and allow to foam.  Combine flour and salt in a separate bowl.  Add flour to yeast mixture and stir to combine.  Add oil. Stir if possible, then turn mixture out on to a flour surface and knead for several minutes until smooth.  Oil dough ball and set aside.  Allow to rise until doubled.  Once ready to cook, preheat oven to 500 degrees.  Divide dough into two equal balls.  Roll a dough ball into a flat, circular shape and life onto a piece of parchment paper.  Cut parchment paper around pizza so there is no overhang.  Then top with favorite pizza toppings.  Then, working carefully, slide parchment paper and pizza onto hot pizza stone.  When pizza is done baking, remove pizza by sliding parchment from pizza stone to cutting board.  Allow pizza to cool slightly before slicing.

1 lb Italian seasoned turkey meat – browned and drained
1 (2 cup) bag shredded mozzarella cheese
4 – 5 tablespoons pizza sauce
Turkey Pepperoni
jalapeno peppers
onion – diced
Your fav pizza toppings

But browned turkey meat in a bowl and add 1 cup of mozzarella cheese. You can add some seasoning here, too.  Like red pepper flakes, pepper, salt, garlic powder…Put meat mixture on a greased broiler pan (so any extra grease will drain) and mold into the shape of a pizza crust.  Add whatever toppings you like and remaining cup of mozzarella cheese on top.  Cook on 400 for about 20 minutes or until cheese is melted.
Notes: Emilie – I’ve made this before with a friend and we’ll double the recipe to make more!  It’s delicious, but may need to be eating with a fork.
