HomeRecipes1st Day of School Smoothies1st Day of School SmoothiesMon, August 7, 2023 by Producer Faith SHARE NOW Oatmeal Breakfast Smoothie 1/4 cup old-fashioned oats, uncooked 1/2 peeled banana 1/2 cup yogurt (we use Greek) Fruit: 3/4 cup mango, 3/4 cup strawberries, or 1/2 cup blueberries or all! 3/4 cup milk (any kind! dairy, oat, almond milk, etc.) Optional: small drizzle of honey for little extra sweetness Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Coffee Smoothie 1/2 cup of cold brew or 1 shot of espresso Oats – rolled oats for fiber and to keep you feeling full. Just a handful. Banana – half or whole banana for sweetness (over-ripe makes it even sweeter.) 1/2 cup milk – Dairy, plant-based, oat or almond. Your choice! Protein – You can use 1 scoop of protein powder or 1 tablespoon of peanut butter. Optional: Cocoa powder OR cinnamon Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
